Dr Li Jen Wong (Jen) is the founder of LJ Chiropractic Clinic Kensington and Caringbah and a new mom!
After working in Dubbo NSW for 2 years, Dr. Eric Ambler, decided to hand over the reigns of his Caringbah clinic (est.1978) to Jen in 2016 to continue to treat families in the Sutherland Shire.
In 2019, she decided to extend her care to communities within Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and establish a second clinic in Kensington, NSW.
Dr Jen has a wide interest in sporting injuries, geriatric care and management of pre-postnatal care. Her recent qualification in sports chiropractic has enable her to treat at international sporting events. Her sporting chiropractic experience includes working with crossfit athletes and her boxing gym and events run by Gairy St Clair.
Being a passionate mother, Dr Jen is a guest speaker for local mothers groups to inform them about breastfeeding postures and how to maintain pelvic floor strength. She also provides care for mothers during pregnancy to allow for a smoother pregnancy journey and to enable mothers to be able to be mobile and maintain strength, reduce tearing and for bub to be happy in the space mom is providing.
Dr Jen is thorough and caring in her delivery of treatment and is equipped with a wide set of tools to provide you with relief !
Dr Sophia Karikala

Dr Sophia Karikala is a graduate from the prestigious New Zealand College of Chiropractic with wealth of clinical experience. Sophia has locumed in New Zealand and Australia, where she’s had the opportunity to treat pregnancy, paediatric and geriatric patients. She is trained in Toggle, Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, Activator, SOT, NET and FBA.
In her spare time she enjoys painting, playing various sports and volunteering at kids programmes. She is also fond of travelling and experiencing different cultures around the world.
Sophia believes your body is made to thrive, not just survive! Dr Karikala is a gentle, knowledgeable and reliable chiropractor, Dr Karikala is constantly working to perfect her craft.
Dr Thomas Lam
About Thomas
Dip. Osteo., M, Chiro
Dr Thomas Lam graduated from the prestigious Macquarie University with Masters of Chiropractic and has a background in Diploma of Osteopathy.
Prior to being a chiropractor, Dr Thomas was a banker but had passion in health and decided to make a brave move to switch careers.
Dr Thomas is qualified in chiropractic and osteopathic manual therapy, massage therapy, dry needling, cupping and rehabilitation. He was a trainer and chiropractor for Cricket NSW –ICNC, and has gained qualification to be a International Functional Strength Coach and Squat therapist.
He is passionate in Sports chiropractic and plays soccer, futsal, boulders, and volunteers at SES during his spare time.
Dr Yvaine Ang
About Yvaine
B.Chiro, B. Clin Chiro (MU)
Dr Yvaine Ang graduated from the prestigious Murdoch university in Perth WA, with a Bachelor in Chiropractic Science and Bachelor of Clinical Chiropractic. Awarded the Vice Chancellor’s Commendation for Academic Excellence for 4 consecutive years (2016-2019). She is trained in diagnose and managing conditions related to the musculoskeletal system, using a range of manual therapies including joint manipulations, lower force techniques (drop piece, ArthroStim), soft tissue therapy, dry needling, and rehabilitation exercises. She is passionate about helping patients achieve optimum health using a holistic approach. With a massage therapist background she is knowledgeable in Meridian points and foot reflexology. She takes pride in quality-focused care that is adapted to the needs and abilities of each patient.
Dr Yvaine is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu and English. Outside of chiropractic she is interested in Clinical Pilates.
Dr Courtney Meleisea

Say hello to Dr Courtney Meleisea! Courtney joins LJ Chiropractic from Auckland, New Zealand. She completed her Chiropractic degree at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in 2014 and has been working in private practice for the last 8 years and has experience in all aspects of chiropractic care from newborn to the elderly. She is also a new mum !
She is constantly staying up to date with the latest research and has a wide interest in sporting injuries, geriatric care and management of pre-postnatal care.
Outside of the practice Dr Courtney is a 4th Degree black belt in ITF Taekwon-Do with over 17 years of training and has represented New Zealand from 2007-2013 at 6 World Championships. It was through training for her first world championships that introduced her to Chiropractic and as a competitor saw the benefits of Chiropractic care. This led her into becoming a Chiropractor, to work with other athletes and people of all ages to help them best achieve their health, sport and life goals.
